What Is an ATS Score Checker?

An ATS score checker simulates how an Applicant Tracking System — the recruitment software most companies use to filter resumes before a human ever reads them — will parse your resume. It scans for keyword matches, section completeness, and formatting issues, then returns a score showing how likely your resume is to survive that first automated screen. Pathvio's checker runs this analysis across 7 categories, entirely in your browser, with no sign-up required.

How to Improve Your ATS Score

  1. 1Add a clearly labelled Work Experience section with start/end dates on every role.
  2. 2Use bullet points, not paragraphs — ATS parsers read bullets far more reliably.
  3. 3Quantify every bullet with a number: %, ₹, users, team size, or time saved.
  4. 4List a dedicated Skills section with 10–15 specific technical or role keywords.
  5. 5Open bullets with strong action verbs (built, led, launched, scaled) instead of "responsible for."
